The Country Music Association has announced the dates for an ABC television special and the 44th annual CMA Awards. CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock will air Sept. 1 on ABC. The three-hour special will be filmed next week during the CMA Music Festival in Nashville. The show will emphasize performances from the evening concert series taking place June 10-13 at LP Field. In addition, this year's CMA Awards will take place on Nov. 10 from the Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville. Final nominees will be announced in early September. The ceremony will air live on ABC.
